One of the best solutions for stabilizing slopes is straw erosion control. Slopes are candidates for erosion as water rushes down them. You could use agricultural straw to hold the soil together and slow down the flow of water. Also ensure slopes are covered in grass or other vegetation that will keep the soil intact.
As mentioned above, straw erosion control is a good solution if you want to slow the water down. Other materials like stones at downspouts and deep rooted native plants will also be effective.
Give the water alternative channels to prevent flooding and washing away of soil on the gardens. Instead of concrete for outdoor landscaping, you could use permeable materials on walkways and patios as these materials are best suited if you would like to achieve seed erosion control. Permeable pavers for driveways for example could work perfectly.
