35 years ago today, Greg Deetsch set out on his first day of work as the
owner of Grasshoppers Land Clearing and Tree Service. He was 18 then, a
senior in high school who worked part time at Clifton Hardware. Equipped
with only a lawn mower to start, Greg’s ambition and drive sculpted that
small, one man business into Louisville’s premiere Land-clearing and Tree
corporation, employing more than 30 skilled, hardworking individuals. Today
we celebrate 35 years of serving our community! Without our wonderful
customers and friends, Grasshoppers wouldn’t be what it is today. Here’s to
many more years of successful operation to come!
